Together, We Can Make A Difference In Our Communities
Emmaus Teams is powered by the following core pillars:
Love
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
God’s Grace
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
God’s Word
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” – Colossians 3:16
Service to Others
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
Courage
“Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight.” – 1 Chronicles 19:13
Forgiveness
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” – Colossians 3:12-13
